Description

Rubber pendulum sliders for use on the pendulum dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) tester. Use these pendulum sliders for ASTM E303-22, EN 16165:2021, AS 4586, etc. We sell TRL rubber (IRHD of 55) for barefoot pedestrian situations and road testing, Four S rubber (IRHD of 96, stands for Standard Shoe Sole Simulating rubber) for testing floors where pedestrians are likely to be wearing shoes, or the CEN rubber (IRHD of 57) for doing the European pendulum test method EN 16165:2021. These can be purchased with the aluminum backing plate, or just the rubber pendulum slider on its own. The rubber pendulum slider will come with a certificate of conformity from the manufacturer in the United Kingdom. Sliders can be removed from your old backing plate carefully and then a few drops of crazy glue will secure the rubber to your old backing plate. We may have these in stock, but you may need to wait a couple weeks for delivery as they do have a two-year shelf life (according to the latest European test method), so we don’t carry a lot in stock at any one time. Minimum order of two sliders. Price includes free shipping to you within the continental USA.
