Return and Cancellation Policy
Products: We will exchange or refund any item — with a few exceptions — for twenty-one (21) days after the buyer receives the item. Cost of shipping the items back to us will be paid by the customer unless we sent the wrong item, in which case we will include the price of ground (or Priority Mail) shipping in our refund. In the case of a return for a refund, customer will not be refunded the cost of shipping the item to them unless we made some sort of mistake.
If your payment was made through Paypal, they do not refund the fees we paid when you made your payment to us. For that reason, we will need to deduct the Paypal fees from your refund.
Custom orders (such as a 7.5″ x 60′ roll of tape, which we do not carry in stock) and large orders of colored tape other than black (such as 40 rolls of green 1″ x 60′ tape) are not returnable.
All sales are final with SolidStepCote and SparkleTuff abrasive anti-slip floor coatings since they are sensitive to weather (if stored below freezing temperatures, for example). We regret we cannot offer refunds for these products. They cannot be returned if opened as well. If a SparkleTuff can has been dented but there hasn’t been any loss of product, that would not be a reason to return the product. The coating inside the dented can will not have been harmed.
We do like to make every effort to be fair to our customers because we very much appreciate their business and we pride ourselves in being kindhearted people here at Safety Direct America. If you would like to make a return for any reason, contact us to see what we can do. But please take note of the common-sense rules we’ve created above.
Testing fees: field slip resistance testing cancellation policy: if a field slip resistance test is cancelled within 96 hours of the scheduled test time, a 25% fee will be charged to the total slip resistance test refund to cover our lost time and expenses, and our lost opportunity cost since we had that time blocked off for your test and couldn’t book anything else for that time slot. If the test is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled test time, a 35% fee will be charged to the total you originally paid for the test. We’re sorry we have to charge these fees, but last-minute cancellations cost us the ability to help our numerous other clients in a timely manner.
In some cases, non-refundable flights and hotels may have already been purchased by us when the refund was requested. We will make every effort to get refunds or credits for those purchases, but your refund may not include money we paid for those items we purchased to conduct your field slip test that we could not recuperate.
