Floor Slip Resistance Test Package: ANSI A137.1/A326.3 “DCOF Rating” Test plus a Pendulum DCOF Slip Test

The A326.3 slip test (or “DCOF AcuTest” as it is sometimes called) and the ASTM E303-22 pendulum DCOF test together for one discounted price. The ANSI A137.1 tile slip resistance test is incorporated in the 2012 International Building Code (IBC), and has taken the place of the old ASTM C1028 SCOF test, so building inspectors may require this test. ANSI A326.3 uses the same test method as ANSI A137.1 to produce a DCOF rating, so our reports state that the test method is ANSI A137.1/A326.3. The ASTM E303 pendulum DCOF test has 50 years of research into real-world slip and fall accidents behind it, so this is the test we recommend for assessing the most accurate actual slip risk. Get both tests together and pay less, as well as getting a more well-rounded view of the slip risk of your flooring sample(s). We conduct these tests together for $414.00 per sample

We also offer the option of our Recommended Slip Test Package PLUS a Wear Test (or Sustainable Slip Resistance Test) for another $81. This subjects your flooring sample to an accelerated wear (equal to 1-2 years of heavy foot traffic), followed by another pendulum DCOF slip resistance test. This will assess whether you’re installing a flooring that will quickly lose its slip resistance once in use. This test was devised in years of research by McDonalds Restaurants.

Turnaround time for laboratory testing is usually 2-3 business days. Three individual pieces of your flooring are called for in the ANSI A326.3 and A137.1 standard. They should be at least 10″x10″. However, we can run this test on smaller samples and on only one sample, if necessary. You can pay by credit card, Paypal, send a check with your sample, or wire transfer. We need to know the name of the client (for the purpose of the report), how you would like the sample named, and we need an email address to send the report to. Your report will be certified and stamped by a registered Professional Engineer. You can also pay for the test online by clicking the “Pay Now” button below, and then just send the info along with your samples (carefully packed) to:
