Sustainable Slip Resistance Pendulum DCOF Test

The Sustainable Slip Resistance (SSR) test utilizes the pendulum slip tester to assess not only the dynamic coefficient of friction (DCOF) of a new flooring sample, but it also assesses the slip risk after the flooring has been through a simulated wear which would be equal to approximately 1-2 years in a busy McDonald’s restaurant. In other words, we will assess the slip risk of your new flooring, and then assess how slippery the flooring might become after use has worn the flooring down a bit. This is our most highly recommended test. It requires one flooring sample that is at least 5″x7″, but 12″x12″ is ideal.

The charge is $320 per sample. Turnaround time for laboratory testing is usually 3 business days. You can pay by credit card, Paypal, send a check with your sample, or wire transfer. We need to know the name of the client (for the purpose of the report), how you would like the sample named, and we need an email address to send the report to. Your report will be certified and stamped by a registered Professional Engineer. You can also pay for the test online by clicking the “Pay Now” button below, and then just send the info along with your samples (carefully packed) to:
