Description

Slip resistance (coefficient of friction) testing will be conducted on your flooring sample using the test method you choose (we recommend the ANSI B101.3 or ANSI A137.1 tests, or the pendulum slip test, generally, for lab DCOF testing) and you will be emailed a certified slip test report signed and stamped by a registered professional engineer, usually within 2-3 days of receiving your sample(s). Be sure to include with your samples which floor slip resistance test you’d like, and provide us with your contact information and the name of the floor sample for the report. The pendulum slip resistance test has been in use for over 50 years and is in use in at least 49 nations, and has lots of slip and fall research behind it. The ANSI A137.1 slip test (or “DCOF AcuTest”) is the official floor slip test in the 2012 IBC.
